In Brazil, Eve reported a demonstration flight of its full-scale engineering prototype at Embraer’s Gavião Peixoto test site, attended by President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. The test campaign has reached about 35 flights and roughly 1.5 hours of accumulated flight time since December 2025, with management framing the effort as focused on system validation, risk reduction and laying groundwork for certification.
Eve also advanced plans for its Taubaté manufacturing facility by hosting the city’s mayor, Sérgio Victor, for a technical visit and alignment discussions. The company emphasized shared goals around local economic development, suggesting that strengthened municipal ties could support permitting, infrastructure coordination and workforce development as it builds an industrial base in Brazil.
On the commercial and ecosystem side, Eve spotlighted its collaboration with Bristow Group, using recent communications to frame eVTOLs as part of a wider urban mobility solution rather than a niche air-taxi product. Discussions with Bristow centered on use cases that save commuter time, reduce surface congestion and improve environmental efficiency, and on operating models that may leverage experienced fleet operators instead of direct-to-consumer approaches.
Eve continued brand and stakeholder work at the VERTICON 2026 event, where it presented an integrated advanced air mobility portfolio spanning aircraft, infrastructure, operations and power solutions. Management reiterated an approximate 2,700-aircraft pre-order backlog, intensified engagement with regulators such as the FAA, and active participation in Brazil’s national AAM policy process, while also launching applications for its 2026-2 internship program.
The company devoted part of March to initiatives promoting women in aviation, including participation in the Women in Aviation Meeting in Brazil and internal forums on careers and urban air mobility. These diversity and inclusion efforts are aimed at strengthening Eve’s employer brand and talent pipeline, which could support long-term innovation and execution in a specialized aerospace segment.
Taken together, the week’s developments signal steady, if early-stage, progress in testing, industrial preparation and ecosystem building for Eve Air Mobility. Future performance will depend on converting its pre-order backlog into firm contracts, achieving certification milestones and executing on its partnership-driven operating model in urban air mobility markets.
