The post suggests City Breeze is the second project under construction in esVolta’s Texas-based Ironhorse portfolio, alongside the Boxcar project. Together, these assets are expected to deliver 290 MW of installed capacity to the ERCOT grid, indicating a growing regional footprint in grid-scale storage.
As shared in the LinkedIn update, esVolta highlights that it has more than 1.5 GWh of energy storage in operation or construction across Texas. For investors, this build-out may signal increasing exposure to ERCOT’s volatility-driven storage revenue streams and could enhance the company’s positioning as grid reliability and peak-demand management gain importance in the Texas power market.
