In Spain, Elum’s ePowerMonitor and ePowerControl PPC are being deployed at the Hinojosa del Duque photovoltaic plant, which is expected to generate 9.40 GWh of renewable energy annually. The systems manage active and reactive power, ramp rates, and power factor in real time to ensure compliance with stringent NTS 2.1 grid requirements.
The Spanish project integrates local SCADA, cloud monitoring, and Elum’s control technologies to enhance operational visibility and long-term reliability. This deployment highlights the company’s ability to support utility-scale projects where regulatory adherence, grid stability, and zero-export capabilities are critical.
Elum also showcased a large hybrid installation that combines its ePowerControl HFS with 1.2 MWp of solar capacity and 4.46 MW of conventional generators. Implemented by installer ENSO, the project illustrates how Elum’s technology enables efficient coordination and reliable operation of complex hybrid generation assets.
To strengthen execution quality, Elum is building an ecosystem of certified installers and promoting its “Installer of the Month” program. This initiative aims to validate real-world implementation expertise, potentially reducing project risks for customers and enhancing the company’s value proposition in high-stakes installations.
In North Africa, Elum emphasized rising demand for grid-compliant solar solutions in Morocco, particularly around zero-export requirements. At Solaire Expo Maroc, the company engaged stakeholders on ongoing projects and highlighted its collaboration with distribution partner Cleanergy Maroc in Casablanca.
Cleanergy provides local commercial and technical support, which could help Elum accelerate sales cycles and deepen penetration in Morocco and neighboring markets. While no specific contract wins or financial data were disclosed, the focus on zero-export and utility-scale projects points to a push into higher-value segments.
In Latin America, Elum announced it will be an official sponsor of EnergYear Chile 2026, a regional energy-sector event. Across several communications, the company highlighted its emphasis on intelligent control and optimization for utility-scale, hybrid, microgrid, and commercial and industrial solar-plus-storage projects.
Elum’s advanced energy management system and plant control solutions are designed to integrate solar PV and battery energy storage systems and support reliable microgrid operations. The company is targeting high-performance C&I projects in the 5–20 MWp range, along with revenue-focused control strategies for large-scale and utility assets.
The EnergYear Chile sponsorship, coupled with outreach by a local area sales manager, signals intensified business development in Chile and the broader LATAM region. These efforts, alongside progress in Spain and Morocco, suggest a strengthening market position for Elum in advanced EMS and grid-compliant control platforms, setting a constructive tone for its future growth prospects.
