Elum Energy highlighted the use of its ePowerControl PPC and ePowerSCADA solutions on a 2.6 MWp solar plant built on a repurposed landfill and developed by CVE. The project is expected to generate about 4,150 MWh annually and relies on a mixed financing structure, with roughly 35% of capital coming from public and citizen investors.

The landfill project underscores Elum’s focus on making solar generation more predictable and grid-compliant through precise power control, coordinated peak shaving, and real-time operational visibility. These capabilities are positioned as critical for complex, distributed assets operating under challenging grid conditions and tightening regulatory standards.

At the same time, Elum Energy is targeting growth in Pakistan’s rapidly expanding solar market, where national capacity is projected to rise from 6.75 GW in 2025 to more than 18 GW by 2031. The company plans to participate in Solar Pakistan 2026 as part of a broader effort to build presence in South Asia.

Elum announced a collaboration with local distributor Industomation Engineering Solutions to support projects on the ground in Pakistan and improve customer access to its technology. The partnership is intended to enhance regional reach and support revenue opportunities tied to system reliability and operational visibility.

Across both the European landfill project and the Pakistan initiative, Elum continues to position its offering toward higher-value software, grid control, and monitoring rather than commodity hardware. This approach may support recurring software and services revenue and deeper integration with project developers and community-energy stakeholders.

Overall, the week reflected steady execution on Elum Energy’s strategy of combining advanced grid-focused controls with targeted expansion into emerging solar markets, potentially reinforcing its role in the control systems segment of global renewable infrastructure.
