Electrified Thermal Solutions Brings Commercial-Scale Thermal Battery Online in San Antonio

According to a recent LinkedIn post from Electrified Thermal Solutions, the company’s Joule Hive Thermal Battery has entered commercial-scale operation in San Antonio. The post notes that this first system can store 20 MWh of heat at temperatures up to 1,800°C, targeting energy-intensive industries such as cement, steel, chemicals, and glass.

The LinkedIn post frames the addressable market as a $400 billion serviceable industrial heat segment currently dominated by fossil fuels.
