EIC Accelerator Funding Backs Adaptavate’s Carbon-Negative Construction Strategy

EIC Accelerator Funding Backs Adaptavate’s Carbon-Negative Construction Strategy

According to a recent LinkedIn post from Adaptavate, the company has been selected for support by the European Innovation Council (EIC) Accelerator, a competitive European Commission funding program. The post indicates that only 61 companies were chosen from hundreds of applicants, and suggests this selection reflects perceived potential in Adaptavate’s carbon‑negative construction technology.

The LinkedIn post highlights that Adaptavate is set to receive a €2.5 million grant as part of a €3.5 million project aimed at validating its carbon‑negative technology and launching a global licensing program. The company suggests this effort is intended to make climate‑positive construction solutions accessible to partners worldwide.

According to the post, Adaptavate will also gain access to Business Acceleration Services linked to the EIC program, including connections with experts, investors, corporates, and innovation ecosystem players. This support is portrayed as a way to help scale both the technology and the licensing model internationally.

The post further notes that these non‑dilutive funds and services will be combined with an ongoing investment round, potentially strengthening the company’s capital position. For investors, the combination of EU grant funding, validation projects, and structured access to stakeholders could de‑risk elements of Adaptavate’s commercialization path and enhance its standing in the cleantech and built‑environment sectors.
