Edge Delta has overhauled its pricing by making its Telemetry Pipelines product free at any data volume, eliminating per‑GB throughput charges and positioning the pipeline layer as a zero‑cost on‑ramp into its observability platform. Effective immediately, customers only pay for data stored in the Edge Delta observability environment and for AI token consumption, a move designed to accelerate adoption of its AI Teammates and reduce friction for large‑scale enterprise onboarding.

The new model removes seat fees, throughput tiers, and pipeline‑usage costs, allowing organizations processing anything from gigabytes to petabytes per day to route, transform, and control telemetry without incremental pipeline expense. By shifting monetization to storage and AI usage, Edge Delta is betting that broad, low‑barrier access to pipelines will expand its data under management and drive higher utilization of AI Teammates, which operate as always‑on, multi‑agent systems that autonomously detect anomalies, investigate issues, and surface root causes.

CEO Ozan Unlu framed the move as a deliberate strategic bet rather than a short‑term promotion, arguing that existing pipeline tools are labor‑intensive and largely limited to simple data movement. Edge Delta instead aims to couple a unified, production‑grade routing layer with agentic observability that “thinks and acts,” reducing alert noise, shrinking mean time to resolution, and lowering on‑call burden for engineering and platform teams that manage complex production environments.

Telemetery Pipelines, sitting upstream of storage, continuously filter noise and enrich telemetry, improving the signal quality that Edge Delta’s AI Teammates use to correlate logs, metrics, traces, code events, and other context across the stack. This architecture is intended to translate into measurable operational gains—fewer escalations, faster incident response, and more engineering time available for product work—while making Edge Delta’s platform more competitive against rival observability and pipeline offerings that still rely on volume‑based pricing.

Strategically, the pricing reset signals that Edge Delta is prioritizing AI‑driven value capture over traditional data‑throughput monetization, aligning its business model with the growing enterprise appetite for autonomous infrastructure operations. For customers, the change removes the historic tradeoff between telemetry cost and observability depth, enabling them to route and optimize more data without budget penalties and potentially consolidating spend away from standalone pipeline vendors toward Edge Delta’s integrated observability and AI stack.
