Doppler, an onchain launch protocol for capital formation, has closed a $9 million seed round led by Pantera Capital, with participation from Variant, Figment Capital, and Coinbase Ventures, positioning the company to scale its infrastructure as the default route to market for new digital assets. In just nine months since launch, Doppler has captured more than 90% of new DEX pool launches on Base and now underpins over six million liquidity pools, including 93% of Uniswap v4 pools on Base and 91% of pools across all supported networks. The protocol has facilitated the creation of more than 40,000 assets per day, representing over $1.5 billion in aggregate value and exceeding $1 billion in cumulative trading volume, making it a central piece of infrastructure for leading onchain applications and token issuers.
Doppler’s core value proposition is compressing the traditionally fragmented and risky token launch process—covering token deployment, vesting, liquidity bootstrapping, governance, and fee routing—into a single, auction-based interface designed to improve price discovery, reduce sniper exploitation, and generate protocol-owned liquidity from day one. This model is intended to address the growing complexity and cost of token launches, which increasingly resemble IPOs but lack institutional intermediation and standardized practices. The platform supports a broad range of asset types, including tokenized equities, commodities, content, art, and creator assets, with immediate tradability on any interface integrated with the underlying DEXs. Proceeds from the seed round will fund expansion into self-serve markets, support for larger token generation events, and deeper integration across the onchain ecosystem. Led by engineers with experience at Uniswap, Primitive Finance, and Aztec, Doppler aims to evolve from being the default infrastructure for coins on Base to becoming the foundational launch and liquidity layer for entirely new onchain asset classes, reshaping how capital formation operates in tokenized markets.
