Doppel has appointed former Stripe engineering leader Natasha Mohanty as Senior Vice President of Engineering, a key hire as the AI-native social engineering defense company accelerates product expansion and global scale. Mohanty, who previously led engineering for Stripe’s Optimized Checkout Suite and Link products, will be responsible for building a high-performing engineering organization, strengthening Doppel’s technical foundation, and scaling a secure, multi-product, AI-driven platform designed to combat increasingly sophisticated impersonation, phishing, fraud, and broader social engineering attacks. Her background spans nearly 20 years across major technology and startup environments, including co-founding Prizma.ai and leading engineering teams at Google and Nielsen, positioning her to blend technical depth with commercial and product strategy.

The leadership addition comes shortly after Doppel closed a $70 million Series C financing just six months after its Series B, underscoring strong investor confidence and growing demand for AI-native defenses against social engineering at scale. Doppel plans to roughly double its engineering headcount and drive sustained increases in annual recurring revenue while maintaining strong net dollar retention, supported by rising enterprise concern over AI-driven impersonation campaigns across email, messaging, and social platforms. The company is expanding its physical presence with a larger San Francisco office and is hiring across San Francisco, New York, London, and other locations as it builds out global operations. Doppel’s platform uses agentic AI to autonomously detect, disrupt, and simulate social engineering threats, integrating digital risk protection, infrastructure takedown, red teaming, and modern security awareness training to reduce human and infrastructure risk and prevent financial loss for corporate customers and executives.
