Datalinx AI has raised $4.2 million in an oversubscribed Seed round to accelerate deployment of its AI-driven data refinery platform for large enterprise marketing and data teams. The financing was led by High Alpha, with participation from Databricks Ventures, Aperiam, and a group of notable SaaS and data founders, and positions the New York- and Austin-based company to meet rising demand for AI-ready, high-quality commercial data. Datalinx AI’s platform targets a core bottleneck in enterprise AI initiatives—data readiness—by automating the discovery, cleaning, validation and activation of complex marketing, advertising and commerce datasets, aiming to reduce dependency on external services firms and internal “data janitorial” work while improving reliability and transparency. CEO and co-founder Joe Luchs, a former Amazon and Oracle executive, described the product as an “agentic data utility” designed to deliver clean, performant data products with minimal manual effort, enabling enterprises to shift technical resources from pipeline maintenance to AI-driven growth.

The company’s technology combines specialized AI agents, commercial ontologies, a secure modular architecture, and an AI-assisted user interface to generate high-fidelity data products more quickly and with fewer technical dependencies, with Datalinx claiming up to a 10x improvement in time-to-value. Datalinx, selected for the inaugural Databricks AI Accelerator Cohort in 2025, is tightly integrated with Databricks’ data and AI stack, which Databricks Ventures says allows CMOs and data teams to more seamlessly convert data into actionable marketing outcomes. Early enterprise partners, including Sallie Mae, are using Datalinx to compress the data product development lifecycle, automate the most time-consuming pipeline tasks, and enable natural language exploration of data to speed go-to-market efforts. With the new capital, Datalinx plans to scale its operations and product delivery, aiming to become core infrastructure for enterprises using data to power AI model development, advertising, marketing analytics, personalization and media measurement, while maintaining strict data quality and governance controls inside the customer’s own environment.
