Cyberhaven spent the week sharpening its focus on AI-driven data protection and insider-risk management, ahead of a Spring Product Launch on May 5. The company is positioning itself as a specialist in securing “agentic AI” across enterprise environments, while underscoring the economic impact of insider threats and data breaches.

The upcoming launch will introduce an Agentic AI Security offering designed to discover, monitor, and control AI agents with access to sensitive data. Cyberhaven also plans an Analyst Plugin to make advanced capabilities more usable, plus expanded data loss prevention coverage and upgraded insider-risk investigation workflows.
On the go-to-market front, Cyberhaven reported a dense schedule of U.S. field events with partners such as Fulcrum Technology Solutions, GuidePoint Security, Softchoice, World Wide Technology, and others. These activities aim to deepen channel relationships, increase visibility with C-level buyers, and broaden the company’s enterprise pipeline.
Complementing product and field moves, Cyberhaven highlighted research showing that roughly one-third of data breaches originate inside organizations, with average incident costs above $4 million. The firm has defined 10 insider “DNA types” to frame the complexity of insider risk, from departing employees to developers using generative AI tools.
The company is also promoting a financial case for integrated Data Security Posture Management that combines DSPM, DLP, and AI security on a unified data model. Cyberhaven argues that this approach can reduce breach probability, streamline compliance, and improve security team productivity, potentially supporting larger deal sizes and stickier deployments.
Taken together, the week’s announcements suggest Cyberhaven is advancing both its technology roadmap and partner-led sales strategy around AI-native and insider-risk security use cases, reinforcing its positioning in the enterprise data protection market.
