Crusoe Plans 900 MW AI Campus in Texas for Microsoft, Targeting 2.1 GW Capacity in Abilene

According to a recent LinkedIn post from Crusoe, the company is developing a 900 MW “AI factory” campus in Abilene, Texas, for Microsoft. The post indicates the new site will feature two buildings, a closed-loop liquid cooling system, and an onsite power plant designed to support grid resilience in the region.

The LinkedIn post also notes that, combined with Crusoe’s existing Abilene infrastructure, the campus is projected to reach 2.1 gigawatts of total capacity, positioning it among the largest AI infrastructure sites globally.
