Crusoe, positioning itself as an “AI factory” infrastructure provider, has been ranked No. 3 in Fast Company’s 2026 World’s Most Innovative Companies list for the Computing category, underscoring market recognition of its vertically integrated strategy. CEO Chase Lochmiller framed the accolade as validation of Crusoe’s model, which ties together energy sourcing, data center build-out, and an AI cloud platform to underpin large-scale AI workloads.
Operationally, Crusoe has shifted from proof-of-concept to large-scale execution over the last 18 months, highlighted by a 1.2‑gigawatt AI campus under construction in Abilene, Texas, where two buildings were energized within a year of breaking ground. The company reports a 45‑gigawatt global power pipeline to support future AI compute demand and is expanding manufacturing via its new Spark Factory in Brighton, Colorado, which will produce modular Crusoe Spark AI factories for low‑latency inference, on‑premise and sovereign AI, and clustered training, integrated with an upgraded Crusoe Cloud that now includes managed inference services for deploying and scaling large language models with lower latency and higher efficiency.
