Cribl Enhances Data Integration with Microsoft Fabric

Cribl, a leader in data management for IT and security, has announced a significant enhancement to its collaboration with Microsoft by introducing a dedicated integration for Microsoft Fabric Real-Time Intelligence. This development positions Cribl Stream as a pivotal data pipeline, allowing customers to efficiently collect, enrich, and route critical telemetry data to Eventstream in Fabric Real-Time Intelligence. This integration is designed to simplify the data routing process, enabling organizations to leverage streaming, real-time event data more effectively within the Microsoft ecosystem. The new capability, available as a ready-to-use Data Source in Fabric, eliminates the need for custom pipeline configurations, thereby accelerating data onboarding and reducing manual overhead. This advancement is particularly beneficial for security teams, who can now prioritize threats and conduct rapid investigations with high-fidelity data, maximizing their return on investment in Microsoft Fabric. “The Fabric integration is a massive win for our mutual customers,” stated Dritan Bitincka, Chief Product Officer at Cribl. “It transforms a complex, labor-intensive configuration into a streamlined data source within Fabric, dramatically reducing the manual overhead required to onboard new sources and accelerating time-to-value.” This integration follows a series of strategic moves by Cribl, including a global agreement with Microsoft in May 2024 and its listing in the Microsoft Marketplace in November 2024. These steps have enabled customers to utilize their existing Microsoft Azure Consumption Commitment to purchase Cribl solutions, further solidifying the partnership.
