CREW Carbon Selected for CUR8 and Isometric 2030 Carbon Removal Portfolio

According to a recent LinkedIn post from CREW Carbon, the company has been selected for The 2030 Portfolio, a carbon removal offering launched by CUR8 and Isometric. The post highlights a New England project deploying Wastewater Alkalinity Enhancement across municipal treatment plants to both improve process efficiency and remove CO₂ in engineered systems.

The LinkedIn post explains that CREW Carbon’s method adds alkaline minerals to wastewater so CO₂ is converted into stable bicarbonate before discharge, with an emphasis on rapid, scalable deployment and rigorous monitoring and verification. According to the post, The 2030 Portfolio targets corporate net-zero buyers and initially includes five suppliers across five carbon removal technologies, with credits risk-assessed by CUR8 and independently certified by Isometric.

For investors, inclusion in a curated, third-party–vetted portfolio could support CREW Carbon’s commercial credibility and access to corporate demand for high-quality carbon removal. The association with independent certification and risk assessment may strengthen the company’s positioning in a market where credit quality and verifiability are increasingly important to large buyers and financial counterparties.

The focus on municipal wastewater infrastructure suggests an addressable market tied to public-sector and utility spending as well as ESG-driven corporate procurement. If the approach proves scalable across additional treatment plants and regions, as implied by the emphasis on rapid deployment, CREW Carbon could potentially see increasing revenue visibility from portfolio-linked offtake and long-term carbon credit contracts.
