Cornerstone Financing Integrates CHEIFS Into InsMark Wealthy and Wise+ With $1 Billion Capital Backing

Cornerstone Financing Integrates CHEIFS Into InsMark Wealthy and Wise+ With $1 Billion Capital Backing

Cornerstone Financing has shared an update. The company announced that InsMark’s Wealthy and Wise Advanced planning software has been rebranded as Wealthy and Wise+™ (WAW+), with Cornerstone’s CHEIFS® home-equity-based planning solution now embedded directly into the platform. Advisors using WAW+ can model CHEIFS-funded strategies alongside traditional plans to illustrate how reallocating a portion of home equity could support long-term care, annuities, retirement income, and estate planning, while leaving the first mortgage structure intact. The post also reiterates Cornerstone Financing’s previously disclosed $1 billion institutional financing commitment from Fortress Investment Group, positioning CHEIFS as a scalable solution rather than a limited pilot.

For investors, this integration signals further commercialization of Cornerstone’s CHEIFS platform through deeper alignment with widely used InsMark planning tools, potentially improving advisor adoption and transaction volume. Embedding CHEIFS into existing advisor workflows may reduce friction in client education and facilitate broader use of home equity as a planning asset among mass-affluent, prime-credit borrowers—a sizable demographic in the wealth management market. The $1 billion financing commitment from Fortress provides capital backing to support increased demand, suggesting that Cornerstone is preparing for higher origination and deployment volumes. Strategically, the move could strengthen Cornerstone’s competitive position within advisor-focused lending and retirement-income solutions, while reinforcing relationships with institutional capital providers and software partners across the financial planning ecosystem.
