Coral Care has raised $13 million in Series A funding to scale its in-home pediatric therapy platform across major U.S. markets, with the round led by Haymaker Ventures and joined by FCA Ventures, Peterson Ventures, and several other investors. The company plans to use the capital to deepen its presence in existing states and support recent launches in Dallas, Houston, Chicago, Philadelphia, and Pittsburgh, extending its footprint across Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Texas, Illinois, and Pennsylvania.
The business now supports a network of more than 400 licensed clinicians, connecting families with speech, occupational, and physical therapists who deliver insurance-covered care directly in children’s homes, targeting needs from language development to motor and sensory challenges. Coral Care reports that over 75% of families remain in care beyond four months, and its proprietary technology platform reduces clinician administrative time by up to 15 hours per week, improving productivity and supporting sustainable independent practices.
Founded in 2023 by CEO Jen Wirt, Coral Care was built in response to long waitlists, complex insurance processes, and limited in-network access that she experienced when seeking services for her daughter, and the company positions itself as infrastructure for scalable, human-centered pediatric therapy. Wirt emphasizes that the model is designed to expand access while strengthening the clinician workforce, and Haymaker Ventures characterizes the platform as a localized, affordable, and modern approach that shifts provider focus from back-office tasks to patient care.
The company’s software streamlines scheduling, documentation, billing, and credentialing, enabling therapists to build community-based practices while Coral Care orchestrates operations at scale. With fresh capital and growing market traction, leadership plans to continue expanding into new geographies, grow the clinician base, and invest further in its technology stack, aiming to establish Coral Care as a leading national platform for in-home pediatric developmental therapy.
