Convene Hospitality Group has expanded its New York City footprint with the launch of Convene 555 Broadway, a 32,000-square-foot meetings and events venue inside the Scholastic Building in SoHo. The opening, which marks CHG’s 16th location in its home market, reinforces the company’s strategy of repositioning prime commercial real estate into hospitality-led, revenue-generating lifestyle assets.

Designed with boutique studio Marlo + Kroft, the second-floor venue offers seven configurable spaces, including a main reception hall, breakout rooms, a boardroom, and gallery-style areas aimed at product demos, workshops, and social events. The interior combines Neoclassical Modern elements, exposed brick, concrete, and ample natural light to appeal to creative, brand-focused clients seeking immersive environments.

CHG is positioning 555 Broadway as a turnkey solution for corporate and experiential events, integrating on-site hospitality staff, in-house production and A/V, and a chef-led catering program under its existing service model. The site also features customizable branding capabilities and Convene’s “Nourish” snack concept, designed to keep attendees on-site and increase per-event spend.

CEO Ryan Simonetti framed the opening as a key milestone in CHG’s growth plan, highlighting SoHo’s blend of heritage and innovation as aligned with the company’s focus on culture- and connection-driven venues. Real estate head Brian Holland underscored that the SoHo location is intended to attract global brands and creative tenants seeking flexible, high-touch event space in a premium retail and office corridor.

For investors and landlords, the addition of 555 Broadway extends CHG’s global portfolio, which includes Convene, etc.venues, NeueHouse, and other special event assets across 38 cities in the U.S. and U.K. Backed by institutional capital from firms such as Ares and Brookfield, CHG continues to scale as one of the largest dedicated meeting and event space providers, using openings like 555 Broadway to deepen its presence in core urban markets and capture demand for flexible, hospitality-driven workplace and event infrastructure.
