Convene Hospitality Group has named former KFC U.S. strategy and finance chief Jonathan Ojany as its new Chief Financial & Operating Officer, consolidating oversight of global finance, strategy, operations, procurement, and legal under a single executive during a critical expansion phase. The move signals CHG’s intent to tighten P&L discipline while scaling its portfolio of lifestyle hospitality and premium event brands across major markets at the intersection of hospitality and high-value commercial real estate.
President and CEO Ryan Simonetti described Ojany as a growth-focused operator who combines financial rigor with hospitality experience, reflecting CHG’s plan to strengthen its operating platform and accelerate international growth. Ojany’s background includes leading modernization and growth initiatives at KFC U.S., senior strategy and operations roles at The Coca-Cola Company, earlier advisory work at McKinsey & Company, and brand and portfolio strategy roles at InterContinental Hotels Group, positioning him to drive value creation across CHG’s 38 global locations. He will be based at CHG’s New York headquarters and is expected to focus on disciplined scaling, platform efficiency, and building a category-defining gathering and events ecosystem for institutional real estate partners and corporate clients.
