Convene Hospitality Group is deepening its London footprint with plans to open Convene Rathbone, a 5,000-square-metre premium meeting and events venue at One Rathbone Square in the West End, scheduled to launch in spring 2027. The site, designed by Frank Gehry and Make Architects, is positioned one minute from Tottenham Court Road Station on the Elizabeth line, providing rapid access to the City and a direct connection for international clients traveling via London Heathrow.

The new asset is intended to serve as a flagship, fully brandable environment that blends CHG’s conference expertise with advanced production capabilities, including 180-degree projection mapping, street-facing LED displays, and a dedicated rigging system to support bespoke B2B and B2C events. Convene Rathbone will target high-impact corporate gatherings, luxury receptions, trade shows, and summits, supported by an in-house hospitality and production team, nutrition-focused catering, and integrated AV for hybrid formats exceeding 800 attendees.

Strategically, the West End location anchors CHG more firmly within a key commercial corridor that spans Marylebone, Soho, and King’s Cross, areas that concentrate tech, media, fashion, and entertainment clients central to London’s demand for experiential brand venues. The venue’s dedicated Oxford Street entrance and proximity to multiple upscale hotels position CHG to capture additional inbound corporate and international event business.

Convene Rathbone will sit alongside existing Convene-operated London venues at Sancroft, 200 Aldersgate, 22 Bishopsgate, 155 Bishopsgate, and 133 Houndsditch, reinforcing CHG’s claim as the largest single provider of premium meeting and event space in the U.S. and U.K. The project underscores CHG’s strategy of converting prime commercial real estate into high-yield, hospitality-led event infrastructure backed by institutional capital, with CBRE and Gowling WLG advising on the transaction.
