ControlMonkey Expands Cloud Resilience Platform With Network and Entra ID DR Features

ControlMonkey advanced its position in cloud resilience this week by expanding disaster recovery coverage to network configurations across major edge providers such as Cloudflare, Fastly, Akamai Technologies, and F5. The platform now uses deterministic, versioned snapshots to restore DNS, routing, CDN, firewall, and edge policies, aiming to reduce downtime from misconfigurations or cyber incidents.

These enhancements extend ControlMonkey beyond traditional data-centric recovery into unified control-plane resilience for both cloud infrastructure and network layers. The broader scope may increase its appeal to enterprises operating complex multi-vendor environments, where automated rollbacks and faster recovery are critical for uptime and compliance.

The company also introduced backup and disaster recovery features for Microsoft Entra ID configurations, enabling restoration of users, groups, and assignments to specific points in time. This move targets a growing need to protect identity and access infrastructure, which has become a primary control plane in cloud security strategies.

By deepening integration with the Azure and Entra ID ecosystem, ControlMonkey could strengthen its relevance in cloud governance, DevOps, and security budgets. The identity-focused capabilities may support stickier customer relationships and cross-sell opportunities with existing cloud configuration and DR customers.

ControlMonkey is further elevating its profile through thought-leadership at the DevOps Live conference, where CTO Ori Yemini is scheduled to speak on March 4 about cloud-native disaster recovery, Terraform at scale, and the interplay between data and infrastructure backups. The company will also maintain a presence at Booth C220 to engage directly with DevOps and cloud engineering teams.

This event activity underscores a strategic emphasis on infrastructure-as-code governance and disaster recovery readiness in cloud-native environments. Overall, the week reflects continued product expansion and targeted market outreach that could enhance ControlMonkey’s competitive positioning in cloud resilience and governance over time.
