According to a recent LinkedIn post from ClickHouse, adtech company InMobi Advertising has reportedly rebuilt its publisher reporting stack using ClickHouse as part of an initiative called “Project Velocity.” The post highlights performance gains, with P99 query latency said to have dropped from more than 60 seconds to under three seconds on a terabyte-scale workload.

The same post suggests that InMobi’s monthly infrastructure spend for this workload fell from around $40,000 to $8,000, alongside more predictable, step-wise cost scaling as data volumes increase. ClickHouse is also portrayed as supporting more than 400,000 queries per day on 10 TB of data compressed to roughly 500 GB, and enabling a reusable analytics platform within InMobi.
