Clean Cult has secured a nationwide rollout of its Fresh Linen Laundry Detergent Sheets across all U.S. Costco regions and Costco.com, marking a pivotal distribution expansion for the private cleaning products company. The launch, positioned as the first nationwide introduction of laundry detergent sheets at Costco, puts Clean Cult at the center of a fast-growing category expected to reach up to $2.5 billion in annual sales by 2030 and potentially 5% of the global laundry market. Costco is offering a club-exclusive, 180-sheet value pack at $22.99, giving Clean Cult access to millions of value-focused households and reinforcing its strategy of combining sustainability with mass affordability. This follows Clean Cult’s earlier entry into Costco with its All-Purpose Cleaner Variety Pack in April 2025, signaling deepening strategic alignment with a major retailer that is influential in setting household purchasing norms.

Strategically, the deal advances Clean Cult’s core mission of reducing single-use plastic in home cleaning by scaling a format that eliminates jugs and pods in favor of lightweight, paper-based, plastic-neutral packaging. CEO Ryan Lupberger framed the Costco expansion as evidence that the company’s sustainability proposition is “going mainstream,” as consumers increasingly seek simpler, less wasteful formats without sacrificing performance. The sheets are free from dyes, phosphates, SLS, 1,4-dioxane, phthalates, and parabens, and independent tests by Sterling Research Laboratories found they clean as well as or better than leading brands on common stains, supporting their competitiveness in a value-driven warehouse environment. With over 70,000 points of distribution already in place across major U.S. retailers and e-commerce, the Costco nationwide launch meaningfully broadens Clean Cult’s reach, enhances brand visibility in a high-traffic channel, and strengthens its position as a scaled, sustainability-focused challenger brand in the mainstream laundry and home care market.
