Claros Technologies Advances PFAS Testing and Destruction Push With Accreditation and Commercial Expansion

ClarosLabs obtained ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation (Certificate AT-3198) for PFAS testing, a key quality standard for analytical laboratories. The accreditation is aimed at helping customers meet increasingly stringent PFAS regulations, particularly in Europe, and could enhance Claros’ credibility with regulators and industrial clients.

With certified testing capabilities, Claros is positioning itself to support organizations facing evolving compliance requirements in water, industrial, and environmental applications. The move aligns the company with growing demand for reliable PFAS analytics as regulatory scrutiny and liability risks increase globally.

On the remediation side, Claros continued to promote its ClarosTechUV platform, which targets large-scale destruction of long, short, and ultra-short chain PFAS. The firm cited internal and published research suggesting the system can destroy up to 99.99% of targeted compounds, positioning it as an end-of-pipe solution for industrial waste streams.

The company emphasized its participation at the ACS Spring 2026 POLY sessions in Atlanta, where discussions focused on scalable PFAS destruction technologies rather than mere detection and containment. Claros representative Zachary Rogers engaged with researchers, manufacturers, and potential partners across the PFAS value chain to explore collaboration and deployment opportunities.

Claros also showcased its technology at the TechConnect World Innovation Conference & Expo in Raleigh and planned further exposure at the Transforming Water, West conference in Arizona. Media coverage in regional outlets and a podcast appearance by CEO Michelle Bellanca added to its visibility among industrial operators, regulators, and investors.

To support commercialization, Claros announced a hiring drive centered in Minnesota to scale its PFAS destruction platform, recruiting across science, industry, and deployment roles. While the company has not disclosed specific contracts or financial metrics, the workforce expansion signals a scale-up phase that could increase operating expenses but deepen execution capacity.

Taken together, the accreditation of ClarosLabs, growing conference and media presence, and targeted hiring indicate Claros is moving from development toward broader commercialization in PFAS testing and remediation. The week’s developments strengthen its technical and regulatory positioning, though future performance will hinge on contract wins, proof of cost-effective operation at scale, and continued regulatory momentum.
