Circular Services has begun operating a $61 million, 120,000-square-foot materials recovery facility in Frisco, Texas, positioning the company as a key recycling infrastructure provider for the fast-growing Dallas-Fort Worth metro area. The state-of-the-art MRF, which broke ground in March 2025, is designed to process single-stream recyclables from McKinney, Frisco, and surrounding communities, with CEO Ron Gonen emphasizing that higher recovery rates will both lower landfill disposal costs for municipalities and generate commodity revenue for local public and private partners.

The facility features advanced optical sorting systems, an upgraded glass cleanup line, and energy-efficient design, and is intended to anchor a broader circularity campus offering multiple material management services to municipal and commercial customers. Circular Services expects the site to create about 35 full-time jobs and to play a central role in North Texas waste diversion strategies, with local officials in McKinney and Frisco highlighting the partnership’s long-term environmental and financial benefits for residents and businesses, while President Joaquin Mariel framed the project as the culmination of more than a decade of planning and a renewed commitment to expanding the circular economy in Texas.
