Circuit – Weekly Recap

Circuit featured prominently this week with multiple updates underscoring its expansion in electric microtransit and deeper integration with city partners. The company launched a new on-demand service in Miami’s Coconut Grove and unveiled RedLink, a free all-electric shuttle in Redmond, Washington, while also highlighting its role in West Palm Beach.

In Miami, Circuit is partnering with the Coconut Grove Business Improvement District and the City of Miami to provide a turnkey microtransit solution. The company will manage vehicles, drivers, technology, and reporting, suggesting a recurring-revenue model that could be replicated in other dense urban neighborhoods.

In Redmond, Circuit is collaborating with the city to operate RedLink, connecting local neighborhoods with Sound Transit’s Link light rail 2 Line. Riders can request trips via the Ride Circuit app or hail shuttles, positioning the service as a first- and last-mile link that complements major rail infrastructure rather than competing with it.

The Redmond partnership highlights Circuit’s broader presence in more than 50 markets and its focus on municipal and transit-agency customers. Successful execution of programs like RedLink could strengthen its reputation in electric, on-demand transit and support bids for similar public-sector contracts across the U.S.

Circuit also used recent communications to frame its electric microtransit as a hedge against volatile gasoline prices. Referencing data on how $5–$6 per gallon gas reduces driving and consumer spending, the company pointed to Pompano Beach, where it delivers over 10,000 rides per month and is associated with more than $150,000 in local economic impact.

This positioning emphasizes both sustainability and economic resilience for cities seeking to support local commerce during fuel spikes. It could make Circuit’s offerings more attractive to municipalities that want to decouple mobility from fuel costs and align with ESG and climate policy priorities.

In West Palm Beach, Circuit engaged with the Leadership Palm Beach County Engage class during a session hosted by the local metropolitan planning organization. Participants experienced Circuit’s first- and last-mile service alongside stakeholders such as Brightline Trains and the West Palm Beach Downtown Development Authority.

This outreach underscores Circuit’s strategy of embedding its services within broader multimodal ecosystems and cultivating civic and business champions. While recent posts did not disclose financial details, the week’s developments collectively point to expanding geographic reach, stronger institutional relationships, and a clearer value proposition for urban microtransit partners.
