Chariot Defense has secured $34 million in Series A funding led by Andreessen Horowitz, lifting total capital raised to $41 million and positioning the company to scale its software-defined battlefield power platform. The round, which also included DCVC, LMNT, Marlinspike, Overmatch, Shield Capital, Ensemble, Trenches Capital, and existing backers General Catalyst and XYZ, follows new sales and contracts with the U.S. Army, DIU Project GI, and commercial customers, signaling early market traction and demand.

The company will use the capital to ramp production of its Amphora hybrid power systems and build an operating system for command, control, and distribution of electric power in combat environments, while significantly expanding its mechanical, electrical, and software engineering teams. Chariot Defense, founded in 2024 and out of stealth since July 2025, has already moved from seed funding to fielding equipment in force-on-force exercises in six months and generating revenue within twelve months, and now aims to establish its Amphora platform as a core power backbone for distributed, expeditionary, and low-signature operations across defense and select commercial use cases.
