Certify Targets ASC Quality Reporting Needs Ahead of Leapfrog Ratings

According to a recent LinkedIn post from Certify, nearly 4,000 ambulatory surgery centers, or ASCs, are set to receive public quality ratings starting in July under Leapfrog’s ASC Survey 2.0 framework. The post indicates that centers participating by the June 30 deadline may have greater influence over how their quality, safety, and patient experience data are represented compared with those relying solely on CMS-reported metrics.

The company’s LinkedIn post highlights operational challenges many ASCs face in assembling quality data, including inconsistent capture, fragmented documentation, and misaligned intake workflows. According to the post, these issues can make it difficult to reconstruct data retrospectively in time for public reporting cycles.

As described in the post, Certify positions its CERTIFY Health platform as a way to embed quality reporting into routine workflows, automatically structuring patient intake and operational data required for the survey. The post also points to real-time feedback tools aimed at capturing OAS CAHPS-aligned patient experience metrics, plus digital forms and eConsent to support compliance and safety documentation.

The post further suggests that multi-site ASC groups can use the platform to standardize reporting across locations and gain real-time visibility into clinical and operational KPIs through dashboards.
