Cato Networks Pursues FedRAMP High to Deepen U.S. Federal SASE and AI-Security Reach

New updates have been reported about Cato Networks.

Meet Samuel – Your Personal Investing Prophet

Cato Networks has begun the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) High Authorization process for its SASE platform, a move aimed at unlocking broader adoption across U.S. federal agencies that require the highest level of cloud security compliance. Working with cybersecurity and compliance firm Coalfire, Cato is targeting the FedRAMP High baseline, which mandates more than 400 controls under NIST SP 800-53 and entails rigorous third-party assessments, extensive documentation, and continuous monitoring.

The company frames this step as central to capturing growing federal demand for secure AI and modern zero-trust networking, as agencies accelerate AI adoption and seek scalable, resilient, and trusted architectures. By pursuing FedRAMP High, Cato is positioning its AI-driven SASE platform and global cloud network as eligible for sensitive federal workloads, potentially expanding its addressable market and reinforcing its credibility in highly regulated environments.
