Captur has secured a $6 million U.S. seed round led by Rally Ventures, with follow-on participation from Sure Valley Ventures, to accelerate its on-device AI infrastructure for enterprise mobile apps. As part of the deal, Rally Venture Partner and former Google CIO Ben Fried will join Captur’s board of directors, adding senior technical and strategic oversight as the company scales.
Captur’s software development kits run computer vision models directly on users’ smartphones, delivering 30-millisecond image verification without connectivity or cloud inference costs, and are already processing tens of millions of images a month across delivery, mobility, and e-commerce. The company plans to use the new capital to expand its team and broaden its edge AI engine into logistics, micro-mobility, and retail, aiming to cut fraud, reduce manual review, and improve transaction completion rates for enterprise customers.
