Bugcrowd is expanding its U.S. public sector footprint through a new distribution partnership with Carahsoft, which will act as its Master Government Aggregator and bring Bugcrowd’s proactive security and vulnerability testing platform to federal, state and local agencies. Under the arrangement, Bugcrowd’s FedRAMP Moderate authorized, cloud-native platform will be sold via Carahsoft’s reseller network and key contract vehicles, including NASA SEWP V, OMNIA Partners and E&I Cooperative Services, materially lowering procurement friction for government buyers.

For Bugcrowd, the agreement strengthens its position in the public sector cybersecurity market by pairing its crowdsourced testing model and AI-driven researcher matching with Carahsoft’s entrenched government channels, potentially accelerating adoption and recurring revenue from agencies seeking scalable vulnerability discovery and remediation. The FedRAMP Moderate authorization, sponsored by the U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, is central to this strategy, as it enables compliant deployment of bug bounty, vulnerability disclosure, penetration testing and red teaming programs, while helping agencies address cybersecurity talent shortages through access to a vetted global researcher community.
