Brightspeed has introduced EasyMove, a new relocation service that lets existing broadband customers transfer their internet to a new address without disconnecting, reapplying, or undergoing another credit check, directly targeting a major churn trigger in the industry. By preserving account history, pricing eligibility, and familiar digital tools, the company aims to reduce friction in the move process and strengthen lifetime customer value across its 7.3 million-home footprint.

The EasyMove model consolidates what is typically a fragmented disconnect-and-reconnect workflow into a single, continuous process, supported by dedicated move specialists and technicians empowered to reuse equipment and tailor installation at the new location. For Brightspeed, the initiative is also an operational play: it simplifies onboarding and billing, improves visibility into the moving journey, and enables equipment reuse, while loyalty-based pricing and an EasyMove AutoPay discount are designed to both retain revenue and stimulate migration to postpaid and autopay plans in eligible markets.
