Blue Jay Gold Corp. has filed an updated NI 43-101 Technical Report and Mineral Resource Estimate for its 100%-owned Steller Gold Project in southern Yukon, establishing a refreshed resource base that will anchor the company’s next phase of exploration. As of the October 31, 2025 effective date and using a 3.0 g/t gold-equivalent cut-off, the Steller deposit now hosts 1.37 million tonnes of Indicated resources grading 7.57 g/t gold and 127.2 g/t silver (9.06 g/t AuEq) and 2.17 million tonnes of Inferred resources grading 5.63 g/t gold and 70.1 g/t silver (6.45 g/t AuEq, after depletion of historically mined areas and removal of isolated blocks to maintain economic realism. Contained metal is estimated at 400,000 ounces AuEq in the Indicated category and 449,000 ounces AuEq in the Inferred category, based on 675 drill holes totaling 111,556 metres plus 2,925 underground channel samples, with the model showing moderate sensitivity to cut-off grade changes.
CEO Geordie Mark said the independent report provides the technical foundation for Blue Jay’s planned spring drill program, which will target extensions of gold-silver mineralization at Skukum Creek and other district prospects within the Steller property. The project benefits from road access to the Carcross railhead and onward connection to the Port of Skagway, offering logistical advantages for future development scenarios, while long-hole mining methods were considered in the resource review to ensure reasonable prospects of economic extraction. Management emphasizes that the resources are not reserves and have no demonstrated economic viability at this stage, and notes that further drilling is expected to upgrade a significant portion of Inferred to Indicated resources, subject to exploration success, permitting, environmental, legal and market risks. For executives and investors, the updated MRE positions Blue Jay with a high-grade, road-accessible Yukon gold-silver asset and a clear near-term catalyst in the form of a district-focused drill campaign designed to grow and de-risk the current resource base.
