Bit2Me Secures ISO 27701 Privacy Certification, Bolstering Compliance and Risk Management Framework

Bit2Me has shared an update. The Spain-based crypto platform announced it has obtained ISO 27701 certification, an international standard for privacy information management. The certification was awarded in person by EQA España, coinciding with International Data Protection Day. This new standard adds to Bit2Me’s existing certifications, including ISO 27001 (information security), ISO 22301 (business continuity), ISO 37001 (anti-bribery), ISO 37301 (compliance management), and UNE 19601 (criminal compliance). For investors, the expanded set of certifications signals a deliberate strengthening of Bit2Me’s governance, risk, and compliance framework in areas critical to digital asset businesses: data protection, security, operational resilience, and regulatory compliance. These enhancements may improve the company’s standing with regulators and institutional clients, potentially supporting customer acquisition and retention in a sector where trust and regulatory readiness are key differentiators. While the direct revenue impact is not immediately quantifiable, the move positions Bit2Me more competitively versus less-compliant crypto service providers and may reduce operational and legal risk over the medium term.
