The company highlighted a deployment of its cubic storage and automation system at Codale Electric Supply in Las Vegas, a Sonepar subsidiary. Faced with space constraints and operational bottlenecks, Codale consolidated three warehouses into a unified AutoStore-powered distribution center located near the Las Vegas Strip. According to the post, the installation enables same-day orders to be processed 20% faster, with 90% fewer errors, while accommodating nearly 10,000 SKUs in a compact footprint. AutoStore positions this site as a blueprint for Sonepar’s future U.S. growth.
For investors, this case study underscores AutoStore’s value proposition in high-density, high-throughput environments, particularly where real estate is constrained and service-level requirements are stringent. Demonstrated performance improvements—faster fulfillment and substantially reduced error rates—support the argument that AutoStore’s solutions can drive customer productivity gains and potentially lower operating costs, which can translate into strong customer retention and upsell opportunities.
The reference to the installation as a model for broader Sonepar expansion suggests the potential for follow-on deployments within a large global electrical distribution network. If replicated at scale, such rollouts could support recurring revenue growth for AutoStore via additional systems, service contracts, and software. The project also reinforces AutoStore’s competitive position in warehouse automation, particularly in the distribution and electrical supply verticals, where reliability and speed are critical differentiators.
