Audos has acquired No Cap, an AI-driven startup evaluation and coaching platform, and simultaneously launched its first funded Entrepreneur-in-Residence cohort, deepening its focus on AI-native solo businesses. The deal folds in No Cap’s dataset from more than 9,000 evaluated startups, 100,000 founder data points, and a 9,000-strong solopreneur community, expanding Audos’s reach beyond the 10,000 people who have already used its platform and the 1,000 currently building on it.

No Cap, originally known for deploying an autonomous AI agent that invested $100,000 per deal, has evolved into a scoring, matching, and follow-up engine trained on insights from over 60 Y Combinator alumni, and its conclusion that most founders are not a fit for traditional venture capital directly informs Audos’s non-VC model. Under that model, Audos funds solopreneurs with up to $100,000 per business in exchange for a 15% revenue share instead of equity, aligning incentives while preserving founder ownership.

The first Audos cohort features AI-native businesses already generating revenue and demonstrating product-market fit, including tools for AI-powered golf coaching, housing search, grief support, marine-focused custom artwork, complex-care coordination, and addiction-support coaching. These cases are used to validate Audos’s thesis that individuals with deep domain expertise can quickly stand up profitable AI-enabled businesses with the right tooling, guidance, and capital.

Strategically, the acquisition positions Audos as an integrated platform that combines AI coaching, data-driven founder selection, and flexible funding to address the large segment of aspiring entrepreneurs who are not served by conventional venture investors. Founder quotes from both Audos and No Cap emphasize a pivot from chasing unicorn outcomes to enabling a broad base of sustainable, founder-friendly companies, and Audos’s backers—including well-known venture names and operators—provide capital to scale this model.

Looking ahead, Audos plans to leverage No Cap’s scoring and matching technology to improve how it identifies high-potential solopreneurs, deploys capital, and supports ongoing growth via AI agents and one-on-one mentorship. Positioned against a backdrop of economic uncertainty and widespread interest in AI tools, the combined platform aims to make small, profitable, AI-native businesses a mainstream path to financial security, particularly for the majority of would-be founders who historically have not accessed venture financing.
