Artemis, a private equity firm focused on industrial technology, has elevated portfolio company McDanel Advanced Material Technologies by promoting long-time executive Mike Ingram to Chief Executive Officer effective April 15, 2026. Ingram, previously Chief Operating Officer and a key leader through multiple ownership transitions, is expected to solidify Artemis’s investment thesis by sharpening operational execution and scaling McDanel’s advanced materials platform.
Under Artemis’s ownership, McDanel has recently broadened its capabilities with two bolt-on acquisitions, Rayotek Scientific and Richland Glass, expanding its technical ceramics and optical technologies portfolio for mission-critical markets. With Ingram now at the helm, Artemis is positioning McDanel to accelerate growth across aerospace, defense, semiconductor, life science, and industrial end-markets, emphasizing integration discipline, stability, and continuity as core levers to enhance returns and support the company’s next stage of strategic expansion.
