Armada Signs LOI with Nscale to Expand Global Sovereign AI and Edge Infrastructure Footprint

New updates have been reported about Armada.

Armada has entered into a letter of intent with Nscale to jointly deliver sovereign AI infrastructure that spans both hyperscale data centers and modular edge deployments for public-sector and enterprise customers worldwide. Under the planned collaboration, Armada will provide its modular data center platforms, including its megawatt-scale Galleon units such as Leviathan and its proprietary Armada Edge Platform, while Nscale contributes large-scale AI supercomputing clusters and sovereign cloud capacity across multiple geographies. The partners plan to leverage access to land and power at pre-identified global sites to offer integrated, turnkey solutions that bundle data center infrastructure, GPU compute, application software, and customer support, aimed at customers needing secure, compliant AI environments in regions where traditional data centers are unavailable or too slow to build.

Strategically, this initiative positions Armada at the center of a hub-and-spoke model for sovereign AI, with Nscale’s large-scale facilities serving as central hubs and Armada’s rapidly deployable edge infrastructure extending those capabilities closer to end users. Armada’s CEO Dan Wright framed the partnership as a way to scale the company’s differentiated sovereign AI offering into new markets on Earth and potentially beyond, aligning with rising demand from governments and enterprises for operational AI that maintains performance, security, and local control over data and compute. By creating a repeatable global deployment model, Armada stands to deepen its role in critical sectors such as energy and defense, accelerate customer AI adoption at the edge, and potentially expand its revenue base through high-value infrastructure projects tied to AI/ML workloads and sovereign compute mandates. The LOI signals intent rather than a finalized commercial contract, but it reinforces Armada’s strategic direction as a full-stack edge infrastructure provider and its ambition to be a key enabler of distributed, sovereign AI at scale.
