Applied Digital has successfully completed the second phase of its Polaris Forge 1 AI Factory Campus in Ellendale, North Dakota, bringing the first building to its full 100 MW critical IT load. This milestone marks the completion of one of three contracted buildings at the site, underscoring the company’s ability to deliver AI infrastructure on schedule. The Polaris Forge 1 campus is part of a 400 MW deployment for CoreWeave under long-term lease agreements, highlighting Applied Digital’s role in meeting the growing demand for AI compute capacity.
This achievement follows Applied Digital’s recent $5 billion lease agreement with a U.S.-based Investment Grade Hyperscaler at its Polaris Forge 2 campus, elevating total contracted revenue to approximately $16 billion across both campuses. The company’s strategic focus on high-density, production-scale AI infrastructure positions it as a leader in the fast-paced AI infrastructure market. Todd Gale, Chief Development Officer, emphasized the company’s engineering discipline and execution reliability, which are critical in delivering complex AI systems. As Applied Digital continues to advance its development pipeline in North Dakota, it remains committed to providing sustainable and scalable compute solutions for modern AI workloads.
