This plan provides users with 20 times more access to AI models from partners like OpenAI, Anthropic, Google DeepMind, and xAI compared to the existing $20-a-month Pro plan. Additionally, Ultra subscribers will receive priority access to upcoming features, a move made possible through Anysphere’s strategic multi-year partnerships with these AI model providers. This development aligns with a broader industry trend where major AI companies are launching premium plans to cater to power users.

The introduction of the Ultra plan is expected to bolster Anysphere’s revenue stream, complementing its impressive growth trajectory. Recently, Anysphere reported that Cursor achieved $500 million in annualized recurring revenue, with major clients including Nvidia, Uber, and Adobe. Despite this success, the competitive landscape is intensifying, as AI model providers like OpenAI and Anthropic are developing their own coding tools, potentially challenging Anysphere’s market position.
