Anthropic is expanding its enterprise-focused product stack with Claude Design, an experimental tool that turns text descriptions into visual assets such as prototypes, slide decks, and one-pagers, aiming squarely at founders, product managers, and non-design professionals who need to visualize ideas quickly. Users describe the desired output in natural language, then iteratively refine layouts, colors, typography, or features, with the system powered by Anthropic’s Claude Opus 4.7 and available in research preview to Claude Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise customers.
Positioned as a complement rather than a replacement for established design platforms, Claude Design can export work as PDFs, URLs, PPTX files, or directly into Canva, where teams can further edit and collaborate, creating a bridge from ideation to production design. The product can ingest a company’s codebase and design files to infer design systems, apply brand-consistent components across projects, and support multiple design systems per organization, reinforcing Anthropic’s push into embedded enterprise workflows; this follows January’s launch of Claude Cowork and subsequent agentic plug-ins for department-specific task automation, and comes as venture investors reportedly court Anthropic with preemptive funding proposals at valuations around or above $800 billion, underscoring market expectations for its long-term strategic and financial upside.
