AmplifyMD has appointed Kurt Blasena as Chief Commercial Officer to lead its commercial strategy as the company scales its AI-enabled virtual care platform across hospitals and health systems. With more than two decades in health technology, including senior commercial roles at Viz.ai and Digital Diagnostics, Blasena is expected to accelerate revenue growth by strengthening sales, marketing, and customer success operations.
CEO and Co-founder Meena Mallipeddi said Blasena’s track record in turning early-stage technologies into category leaders aligns with AmplifyMD’s next phase of expansion, as health systems face specialist shortages, cost pressures, and rising demand for virtual care. AmplifyMD, which supports over 400 clinical programs, integrates AI into EHR-connected workflows to extend specialist capacity and improve operational and clinical outcomes, positioning the company to benefit as providers increasingly adopt AI and automation to address workforce and access constraints.
