Amperos Health Raises $16 Million to Scale AI-Driven Denial Management Platform

Amperos Health has secured $16 million in Series A funding to accelerate rollout of its AI-native denial management and revenue recovery platform for healthcare providers. Led by Bessemer Venture Partners with participation from Uncork Capital and Neo, the round brings total funding to at least $20.2 million and will support product expansion, analytics enhancements, and broader go-to-market execution.

Positioning itself as the first fully agentic AI partner for end-to-end denial and collections workflows, Amperos Health automates tasks from portal follow-ups and phone calls to corrected claims, medical record submissions, and appeals, with experts intervening only on the most complex cases. The company reports serving more than 3,000 clinical locations in all 50 states, recovering nearly $700 million in revenue annually across over 500,000 claims and delivering up to 22% higher recoveries per claim at as much as 50% lower cost, which directly targets an RCM market where 12% of claims are denied and providers lose an estimated $262 billion in revenue each year.
