Alpha Aesthetics Partners, a Thurston Group portfolio company focused on building a national medical aesthetics platform, has entered into a partnership with LexRx and its training arm Inject with Lex, strengthening Alpha’s footprint and capabilities in injectables-focused practices. The transaction brings a four-location Massachusetts platform founded and led by nurse practitioner Alexa Nicholls Costa into Alpha’s network, aligning with its strategy to scale provider-led, clinically driven aesthetics businesses while preserving local brand equity.
Under the partnership, LexRx will retain control over its brand, patient experience, and clinical decision-making, while gaining access to Alpha’s broader operational infrastructure, strategic support, and expanded clinical training resources. Alpha expects the addition of LexRx’s education program, Inject with Lex, which offers hands-on training and mentorship for aesthetic medicine providers at multiple career stages, to enhance its ability to standardize and elevate clinical standards across its growing portfolio. CEO John Wheeler framed the deal as both a growth and capability-building move, reinforcing Alpha’s presence across its 36 locations in 12 states and supporting its long-term objective to build the largest, best-run network of medical aesthetics practices in the U.S.
