Aikido Security has chosen Chicago’s River North district for its new U.S. headquarters, a move designed to anchor its North American expansion as demand for its unified code-to-runtime security platform surges. The company reports nearly 300% growth in its U.S. customer base over the past year and a fivefold increase in global revenue, reflecting enterprises’ shift away from legacy security tools that cannot keep pace with modern software development.
The Chicago office, led by North America General Manager Louis Jonckheere, will initially focus on go-to-market and core operational functions and is expected to reach more than 100 employees by mid 2027. This expansion follows Aikido’s recent Series B financing at a $1 billion valuation, making it the fastest European cybersecurity firm to achieve unicorn status, and supports a platform already used daily by over 100,000 development teams worldwide, including major brands in technology, finance, and media.
