The company’s LinkedIn post highlights that the initiative aims to serve roughly 320 schools in an area described as having one of Brazil’s lowest Human Development Index levels. By expanding its presence in Pará, where it already operates via Águas do Pará, Aegea appears to be reinforcing its social impact credentials, which may support long‑term stakeholder relations, regulatory goodwill, and brand positioning in Brazil’s sanitation and infrastructure markets.
