Adaptive6 has exited stealth with a $28 million Series A round, bringing total funding to $44 million to expand its AI-powered cloud cost governance platform, which is already deployed at dozens of Fortune 500 and Global 2000 enterprises. Led by U.S. Venture Partners with participation from New Era Capital Partners, Forgepoint Capital, Pitango VC, and Vertex Ventures, the financing will fuel product development and go-to-market as Adaptive6 targets the estimated $200 billion in annual cloud waste, often representing roughly 30% of enterprise cloud spend. The company positions its Cloud Cost Governance and Optimization (CCGO) approach as an engineering-first counterpart to traditional FinOps tools, shifting responsibility from finance reporting to developer remediation and prevention at the code level. CEO and co-founder Aviv Revach argues that cloud cost must move into the engineering workflow, mirroring the shift seen in cybersecurity from compliance to embedded engineering practice.

Adaptive6’s platform scans multi-cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure), SaaS and PaaS services (including Snowflake and Databricks), and Infrastructure-as-Code repositories such as Terraform to detect hundreds of waste patterns, including hidden “Shadow Waste” missed by standard tools. Its proprietary Cloud-to-Code technology traces each inefficiency down to the exact line of code and pushes recommended fixes directly to responsible engineers, with one-click remediation either into production environments or as pull requests into Git-based CI/CD pipelines. Customers are reporting 15–35% reductions in cloud spend, with a cited example of a single misconfiguration fix saving more than $1 million annually.
