3D Cloud, a 3D visualization and configuration provider for retailers and manufacturers, reported a data-heavy week underscoring the commercial impact of its platform. The company said its augmented reality and 360-degree commerce tools are associated with a 35% lift in online conversion rates, as shoppers virtually place or rotate furniture to reduce purchase uncertainty.

Internal metrics also indicate that users of its 3D Product Configurator generate roughly 40% higher average order values, while a consumer survey found 3D tool users are 67% more likely to spend above $2,500 and buy 57% more items. With only about 30% of buyers currently using these tools, 3D Cloud sees meaningful headroom for adoption across retail channels.
For manufacturers, 3D Cloud highlighted independent ROI research from Provoke Insights focused on contract and office furniture clients. Reported benefits include more than a 50% increase in visualization output without additional staff, about $400,000 in annual savings, 80–90% lower rendering costs and 50–55% faster dealer sales visualization workflows.
The company is promoting an April 27 webinar to discuss these findings and provide a 2026 Business Impact Report, aiming to help prospects build internal business cases. Positioning its software as both a revenue driver and cost-saving tool may support pricing power, customer acquisition and retention, especially among data-driven manufacturers and large retailers.
On the innovation front, 3D Cloud received a U.S. patent notice of allowance for an AI-driven, chat-based 3D product configuration system targeting furniture, kitchen and bath e-commerce and CPQ workflows. It also upgraded its Deck Designer platform with automatic dimensions and a tape-measure feature to reduce construction errors and improve bill-of-materials accuracy.
Commercially, the firm continued to cultivate retail relationships through its 3D Commerce Summit 2026, drawing brands such as CITY Furniture, Raymour & Flanigan and MillerKnoll. 3D Cloud plans to showcase its 3D experience platform at the World Retail Congress in Berlin, featuring planners, room scanning and WebAR-enabled configurators.
Brand and ESG initiatives remained active, including “Women in Furniture” and “Women in Tech” campaigns and support for Girls Inc. The company also highlighted its contribution honoring CITY Furniture CEO Andrew Koenig’s ADL Humanitarian Award, reinforcing ties with sustainability and social-impact focused partners.
Overall, the week’s updates emphasize 3D Cloud’s efforts to deepen its technology moat, quantify ROI for both retailers and manufacturers, and expand strategic partnerships, potentially strengthening its long-term competitive position in 3D commerce and AR-driven retail tech.
