3D Cloud, a provider of 3D visualization and configuration software for retailers and manufacturers, reported a busy week of technology, commercial and branding updates. The company secured a U.S. patent notice of allowance for an AI-driven, chat-based 3D product configuration system aimed at furniture, kitchen and bath e-commerce and CPQ workflows.

The firm also highlighted new independent ROI research from Provoke Insights covering contract furniture manufacturers using its platform. Customers reported more than 50% growth in visualization output without adding staff, around $400,000 in average annual savings, 80–90% lower rendering costs and 50–55% faster dealer sales visualization workflows.
3D Cloud’s internal data showed users of its 3D Product Configurator generate roughly 40% higher average order values, while a consumer survey found shoppers using 3D tools are 67% more likely to spend above $2,500 and buy 57% more items. However, only about 30% of buyers currently use such tools, indicating headroom for further adoption across retail channels.
On the product side, the company upgraded its Deck Designer platform with automatic dimensions and a tape-measure feature to reduce construction errors and improve bill-of-materials accuracy. These enhancements are intended to strengthen customer satisfaction and platform stickiness as integrated 3D visualization becomes more embedded in online and in-store journeys.
3D Cloud also advanced its role as an industry convener through its 3D Commerce Summit 2026, hosting retailers including CITY Furniture, Raymour & Flanigan and MillerKnoll for discussions on 3D and artificial intelligence in retail. The firm is already promoting a 2027 summit, signaling a push to deepen executive relationships and support product feedback and pipeline development.
Brand building and ESG alignment featured prominently, with continuing “Women in Furniture” and “Women in Tech” campaigns and support for Girls Inc. The company further underscored its values-driven positioning by celebrating CITY Furniture CEO Andrew Koenig’s ADL Humanitarian Award and contributing in his name, reinforcing ties to sustainability and social-impact focused clients.
3D Cloud plans to showcase its 3D experience platform at the World Retail Congress in Berlin later in April, including planners, room scanning and WebAR-enabled configurators. Taken together, the week’s developments highlight efforts to deepen its technology moat, quantify measurable ROI, and broaden high-profile retail and ESG-focused relationships that could support future growth and client retention.
