Amazon committed up to $50 billion, while Nvidia and SoftBank each invested $30 billion, pointing to their deep alignment with OpenAI’s AI infrastructure push.
OpenAI also allowed individual investors to participate for the first time, raising over $3 billion through banks, a sign that interest in AI is expanding beyond traditional venture capital.
